T-minus 2 weeks and counting for Halloween! Let's face it between jobs, life, and Halloween projects time is minimal, so I have an idea for a post to save some time with maximum affect. If everyone here posted a project on this thread that is quick and highly effective, it would save most of us time and add a whole lot to each other’s overall decor. Below is a sample project I did in 15 minutes last year and it scared the day lights out of every ToT'er last year (in a fun way).... Read below let me know if you use it, and like it, then posted your own last minute project by replying to this thread!

Here is what I did:

Most everyone has a basketball pole in their driveway. I took two computer speakers (I got at a garage sale for 4 bucks) turned them upside down and drilled them into a 2 foot by 6 inches piece of plywood. This piece of plywood, and speakers, were then set on the backside of the rim of the basketball hoop (the flat part). I then plugged in my IPOD to the input wire of the speakers. I put on continuous loop of a lighting track. Once the lighting hit it would trigger a 100 watt bulb attached to the top of the basketball backboard. The light was plugged into the XMAS F/X lighting box shown below. The box turned the light on every lighting CRACK and the IPOD sent the sound to the computer speakers high in the sky (I also put the IPOD in a Zip Lock, just in case of rain). I turned up the volume and began to see ToT’ers jump about 5 feet in the air with every lighting strike... Simple, cost effective, and most importantly a fast project to complete!
