I made a gate for the front of my house. The skulls are sound activated and have blinking LEDs (Big Lots). There is also a Raven that has glowing red eyes that is tough to see. Gate made from PVC, and 1X2s The gate is actually functional. I will also have an asylum sign and a warning authorized personnel only sign. It feels good to get something put up outside!!!!

Wow, that looks great! How did you attach them to your walls?

I would be tempted to leave them up all year round.....!!!
Thank ye matey, from the bottom of me scurvy heart......"One Eye'd" Mick

The ships' doctor warned me that I've been partaking in too much wine, women and song and told me that I should cut back a bit.........I am really going to miss the singing.....

Looks fantastic. I agree, I'd want to leave them up too lol. Dumb question here, how do you cut the large PVC rounds? Hand saw? I can't imagine cutting something that straight by hand lol.

Thanks - actually when I first made it I didn't have the skulls on it and it looked too good - looked like it belonged there and not Halloweenish enough. The large PVC was cut with a chop saw - it would take a long time by hand but this way only took a couple of minutes. I attached each piece of fenced to two hinges which were attached to a 2X2 anchored to the walls with two cement screws. I'll put a dab of paint over each hole when I'm done.
