Last year I bought the Graveyard Guardian from Spirit, which I love, but it says I should only use a FITCO 400W or 1000W fogger with it. I can't find the ones recommended. help! I don't have the skills yet to hack it. Does anyone else have this prop, and what did you do?

Hummm, thats news to me, guess I should read the directions first! I bought this guy last year and used the 400W fogger I bought from Party City and had no issues. I am guessing the reasoning is the 3 prong plug used to connect the prop to the fogger so they are in sync. As long as your fogger can plug into the adapter you should be good to go.

I'm sure you can use any fog machine, I wouldn't worry about it.
Looked and couldn't find Graveyeard Guardian, but found Guardian of the Grave... it's just a tube that connects to the fog machine and routs the fog out through the guy's mouth.

I agree with the others, you are probably fine with any machine, but here are some additional thoughts:

    - Can you call the mfg of the prop and ask them why they specified this brand only? Do they own or are partners with that company and are just trying to push business their way, or is there an actual requirement? An actual requirement would be something like:
    - There is a fitting that is a specific size that is unique
    - There is some behavior of the fog machine, the frequency, duration, etc that's needed to make this prop look right

The prop comes with its own built in timer.... you hook it up to the machine and every time the prop is tripped by the motion sensor, it triggers the fog machine. Hooking up the hose is the easy part. I am trying to find a way to contact the manufacturer. I guess I will try to hook it up to another machine and see what happens.
