Depends on your weather and how much it adds to your haunt I think. I forget where the post is on here, but some people use irrigation pipe to help disperse the fog more evenly and strategically. That's my plan. I figure I can put the pipe on ice (but it wouldn't last long) or stick some small frozen water bottles in the pipe.

If you want low lying fog, the cheap, quick, and easy way to is with with that corrugated drainage pipping they sell at Lowes and Home Depot. The premises is that fog sits on the ground more when it is dense. You can cool it and that works or get the flexible pipping (with holes), attach the one side to the fog machine and tape up the other side. The fog is forced through the smaller holes, make it more dense and the hose can be cleverly concealed though out the area.

Hmm, that "water bottle in the pipe" gave me an interesting idea. From the fog machine, immediately split it into 2 or 4 PVC pipes depending on how big your fog machine is. Then make a U shape right after the split, using a large diameter pipe for the bottom of the U. Fill each one with ice or frozen bottles, then back up a little so the fog has to stay on the ice for a bit until it rises out of the pipes. Use 90° bends at the top of the output pipe so you can aim the fog in different directions to disperse it.
