OK, my husband just sent me this link and I'm sure someone here will find it interesting, useful and let them create a great effect in their haunt.

I came here to post this link because I did find it interesting!

My first thought was that it would be really cool to zip-tie the rope to the back of a shape cut from wood (skull, pumpkin, whatever) and mounted as a silhouette.Whether on your wall, window or monitor, Vidscenes can help you set your scene in motion!

I was thinking traveling lights of your color choice used in a mad scientist lab's equipment panel. Maybe on an alien space ship. I wonder if you can get a pulsating effect with it.
We actually are looking to add some lighting in a ceiling popup in our kitchen and my husband would love to make it LED instead of the standard rope light. He didn't think the price was that bad compared to most LED lighting right now which is on the high end. I asked him if he was planning on holding a rave in our kitchen and he said we'll we'd keep it white most of the time and maybe for holidays change the color. I find this amusing as he never really cared about our lighting before but he works with color and LEDs in his job so it's kind of an extension for him. Anyway if he does end up seriously considering this I might want to take it down and use it in my haunt once a year if I can come up with something worth doing with it.
