My ghost town was really starting to come together (inside the garage) but as you walked down my long driveway, something was definitely missing. I realized that I wasn't "pulled" into the theme quick enough so I decided to extend my Ghost Town to the front of my garage. That way when you look down the driveway from the sidewalk, you'll see what lies ahead! My driveway is twice as long as pictured.

I was definitely inspired after seeing dirtTroll's Haunted Mansion! The Haunted Mansion 85% complete!

I plan to keep this theme for at least 5 years (or more) and so I can add things that I wasn't able to this year. For example, next year I'm sure I'll add the rest of the facade for the right side. Then maybe the year after that, I start extending out on the sides and then eventually turn this whole portion of my driveway into a mini Ghost Town!

I plan to have battery candles inside the lanterns to help light the entrance.

This is the old lady that greets you at the entrance. She's sound activated and a bit spooky hiding around the corner.

I added the hands I made from last years' 13' Grim Reaper and they were a perfect addition for my flying skeleton ghost which greets you on your first boardwalk excursion. It adds a really neat perspective because the large hands seem to wrap around your head as you walk through.

I'll definitely post some more pics of all the recent updates inside and get some night pics with all the lights on. Less than two weeks left and at least most of my building is completed. Now it's down to the details!

If you don't have a Hangman's gallows yet, it looks like a perfect set up for one!

Thank ye matey, from the bottom of me scurvy heart......"One Eye'd" Mick

The ships' doctor warned me that I've been partaking in too much wine, women and song and told me that I should cut back a bit.........I am really going to miss the singing.....

Yes! Those and a half broken wagon wheel somewhere... I've looked all over this place and we're scarce for tumble weeds though. I'll be gathering some sort of dead foilage to spice it up a bit before Halloween.
