Thread: I got a little ambitious again.. PVC candles!

I started a new career this year but since I just started out, its going slow and money is tight. But were 2 weeks from Halloween and I need to build some new stuff this year. I dont know if some of you may remember me as the guy that built 14 head stones last year, only a week and a half before the big day. Last night I decided on making 30 PVC flicker candles. I ended up with only 29 (I broke one ) But Im please with the end result. I will be making probley more than 100 more for next year as well as 30 more tombs and my fence. Sadly this year money just wont allow it.



Im my living room with all the lights off. They look cool with the light dancing on the head stones. I cant wait to set up my cemetery!



Hope you like em! I know they will change the whole mood of my cemetery. I would post pics of my cemetery but I dont put it up till the morning of halloween!

So are the LED's red?

What about painting the PVC candles a black color? Would that take away from the illumination at the top?

No, those are christmas candle flicker bulbs that come on a strand of 10. They are a yellow / orangey color, I think the color balance on my cell phone is off causing them to look red in photos.

Im not sure how black paint would look. Im going to look for clear plastic pipe next and make some of these but with the religeous stickers on them that I will print off the computer.
