I was in a 99¢ ONLY STORE (actual store name) today and in the kids section they have Dinosaur Grabbers in stock right now. I picked up a few for some snake props that I want to insert the Grabber into and rig to make the snake's mouth open and close on my prop. The mechanics of the opening and closing is pretty simple--trigger handle attached to a cord attached to a spring tension wire.
I'll post a pic of the Grabber that I bought. They had a few varieties of dinosaur heads to choose from but I felt that the smooth shape of the head I bought would fit easier in my latex snake's body. If you live in California, Nevada, Arizona or Texas, I posted a link above so you can check their store locator.
Here's the pic mentioned above. Small enough head to use inside my snake prop.

I saw a post somewhere where a guy was using one to make a skull mouth open and close. He had a small air ram hooked up to the handle on his.
Should work with some masks too. I am working on a werewolf with one of the more expensive grabbers.
