Thread: Mini Strobe Lights - Need more power!

So I bought one of these mini strobes from HalloweenCity, thinking they would be good. What a mistake.
The light doesn't flicker fast enough. The output is weak and the color gels don't seem to do anything.
These things suck so much.

As you can see, below in the picture, the wattage is rated at: 9.6W

I need something more powerful.

Any suggestions?

Wait, that's an AC powered one? I got some LED battery ones from Walgreens last year that flash really fast and are pretty bright. I think they have them again this year. I noticed the LED one at Halloween City was not nearly as fast as the Walgreens one, but since they all look the same I hope the manufacturer hasn't changed it.

otherwise, I'd check music / instrument stores in your area, or maybe even a Party City.

Is that an LED strobe??? I would recommend against those with a strobe light...
