i went looking for carpet adhesive but couldn't find it because nobody seemed to know what I was asking for.
Can someone please post some links or images of the packaging of carpet adhesive from home depot or lowes?
Everytime I ask they're trying to sell me mastic. Then another guy says, oh we don't carry that anymore. etc etc.
Lastly, are there any driers which can be added to this i wonder to speed drying time?
Since it's latex I assume oil based ink driers wouldn't work with this.
thanks.
*edit*
this stuff?

I would rather use liquid latex but price plays a huge part into it so most of the time I use...
Lowe's and the last time I bought any (3 years) it was $9.00 a gallon. Spray paint it while it's wet and it'll dry a lot faster, usually one day, if you leave it out in the sun.

And this is what you get if you leave a pan full of it for a few days

I did my first Bucky this year and could not find latex. I used regular adhesive from lowes using a foam brush. I was very please at how easy it went on. Took about a week to dry and was still quite tacky. After I applied my stain, it was still tacky to the touch. On a whim, I took it outside and rubbed dirt and mulch by hand all over it. Next day, brushed off all the lose dirt and mulch and the effect was perfect, and the tackiness was gone. Only thing I would have changed is to use a lighter stain.
