This year I'm running a cave through my garage, with several pirates lurking in it. With the exception of one of them, all are hand made. I buy pirate masks and then fill them with Great Stuff foam. The cave is made of a wood frame; I then screw eye lids into the base and the top, and run cable through it. I then string twine to it vertically and horizontally, and then tie additional pieces of strong to round out the form of the cave. I then crumple up brown paper and staple it to the string. With correct lighting it looks awesome. These are the initial photos; more to come.

More photos in my photo album on this site, but as of 10/12 the cave looks rough. I should have it much farther along by this weekend.

Cool! Looks like you're off to a great start, demichae! I'm always happy to see another pirate-themed garage haunt. I like how you've scaled down the entrance for TOTs, forcing adults to crouch down.

Good start on a fun looking project. I wish I could use my garage to have a walk through, but it's full of stuff. lol.
