This is my first try at the whole animatronics so be gentle please. lol He isn't done yet. I still need to animate the skull. I am adding a moving eye and jaw movement. I just got my Picotalk yesterday!! And I need to pad out the body and add a chest and paint the frame black. I started based on the jason vorhees concept, as far as movement. however where as he costs like 350.00 at spirit Im only into this for 75$ as it stands. Add the pico talk at another 80$ and I think it will end up the best 155$ i spent for my 2010 haunt!

    Here is the video......

Ill add another video when I finish it

I started the install of the picotalk on the head. I cut out the eye and used the roll on deoderant tip idea I found on someones site. And I hooked up my servo for my jaw and got it dialed in. I am also using a small red LED mini spotlight I got online to give it a bit of scare factor.

Im using "buck" motors. They sell them as replacements for the holiday animated lawn deer. They were like 10$ or 15$ each I think. Ill post pics without costume when I finish the head.

Hey good job, we all start somewhere. One word of caution though. You will now have air compressors, cyclinders and a DMXorsist dancing in your head!!!
