We're running into a problem with our programmed lights, and I'm wondering if by any chance anybody else here has experienced the same problem and might be able to help.

My husband is a sound designer for video games, so he uses Cubase pretty much every day, but for some reason it's acting up and we can't figure out what's going wrong.

We are trying to run the sounds and lights together using Cubase, as we have in previous years, but the computer that we used to use for this has died, so now we're using a laptop with Windows 7 on it.

Both the lights and sound will play as programmed for about 10 minutes or so, but after that the lights stop responding, though the sound still continues. This has never been an issue before, and we're not even sure what to check at this point. Anybody have any insights as to what we might be able to do or what we should look at?
