I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried using bread dough as intestines before. If so how well did it work? Did you seal the dough or leave it fresh? I am planning on using a real tight mixture with food coloring (red, blue) and Kayro syrup.....

I'd imagine it would work somewhat well, particularly if you're going to have a "touch it" type prop. Personally, however, I'd just use GreatStuff, because you only have to build it once. Dough would require you to add new every year.

I've never done it but if it's going to be outside I think it would create an insect feeding frrenzy.

I would use clay or great stuff. Dough is going to bring lots of bugs. You can probably use animal balloons. Look for balloons listed as either 260 or 160. Those are two of the standard animal twisting balloons. You can fill them with water and they should look good.

Lol yeah I forgot to mention one lil thing....Picture walking into a nicely done torture chamber...You have the rack, iron maiden, bed of nails.....But then you hear a person moaning..You look up and there is a girl chained to the ceiling, clutching her stomach....The next thing you know she lets go and a torrent of entrails come sloping to the floor (and onto you)....Yeah were getting nasty this year....Thats why I was wondering about bread dough...It has to be really nasty and yet soft enough to fall on people.

Well it would definitely be nasty enough alright, but if that mess starts falling on people and getting on their clothes and in their hair, you're going to have to deal with some seriously irritated customers.
