One of the first stones I made about 15 years ago when I first started was a Celtic Cross with Nevermore on it and a static raven. It was done in a big block of white Styrofoam. It was ok, but not special.
Well I loved the concept, loving the Raven poem and all. I decided to do a redux and revisit the idea. I need to give credit to Uruk- Hai for his template in helping me create what I wanted. I added the raven to it before completion to make it part of the stone.
I wanted it to look rough hand hewn since it is going in my lost woods cemetery, so I hand carved all the areas out with an x acto.
Lost in the picture is the moss on the left side. This time I like the concept and the execution!
