I am making some tombstones this year, rather than using purchased ones.
One is a cross shaped stone and another has a cross on it. The rest are going to be plain, old stones.
Offensive, yes or no?

A good source of tombstone inspiration is visiting an old cemetery during the day. Bring along a digital camera to take reference pics. Remember to be respectful when doing this... don't want to bring home any hitchhiking ghosts.

Some of the store bought ones are crosses or have crosses on them. As long as it's not an inverted cross you should be OK.

I have a couple of foam ones that are shaped like crosses and have never had an issue with it...

Everything is offensive to someone. Luckily, no one has a right to not be offended. Just don't go offending EVERYONE and I think you'll be ok

I doesn't seem offensive to me. I have a fairly tame but eerie yard at Halloween and I have to endure weekly visits from the Johovah's witnesses.
Halloween is a time for fun and if you are having fun, just enjoy it.

I don't find it offensive at all!

If you were to have Jesus hanging from the Cross in a clown costume with a big red nose, I think you might offend someone. If it is just a tombstone in the shape of a cross I think you're fine.
When storage is a concearn, put your monster props under the kids beds.

Gosh I hope not, because I just finished a double tombstone and I put those 6 inch crosses on top of each one! At least they aren't upside down!

Not offensive at all... I have pieces of messed up pallett wood that I nail together for crosses... they look great! It is a cemetery after all and any one that you would visit will have crosses in it( unless the cemetery is for a specific religion).
