Found this dress yesterday at Sal Army for $5.00, put together on the hanging body form, pool noodles and the cosmo head, hands from $ general. It came out good but should I bloody up the dress? it is a really nice dress and something I could wear for a costume.............but will I??????? what to do??????? thoughts please

If you plan on using it at a later date, I wouldn't bloody it up. is the head hollow? or could you hollow it in any way...I'd be so tempted to use the bloody dripping effect on this. I can't remember who posted it sorry but it involved a milk jug with small holes in it and filled with red water so it slowly seeped out and dripped.

For $5 I'd say bloody it up! Think of it this way, how believable will she be if she was decapitated without a drop of blood spilling on her dress? Go for it!

Yep - time to give her a splash of the red stuff.... Besides - you can find another gown in the thrift stores. You could even swap this one out if you want to use it - and put another gown on her. I have seen them for a reasonable price at Goodwill or Salvation Army stores...
