I found this video on youtube. In the beginning and again at 1:46 there is the coolest ghost effect I have ever seen. Can someone please tell me how and what it is. I want this for next year. Very creepy. Great video too.

To me it looks like a type of Peppers Ghost illusion. Done with a piece of glass and a projection.

I don't know how to do it, but it looks like a projection. look up halloween projection projects or projection ghost images... something like that. Maybe google it if you can't find it here.. I'm new to this forum so I'm not sure about where to find the info here...

It's projection. I've seen videos of their earlier haunts and they've been doing projections for awhile. Good stuff.

I agree - it looks like a projector. They have a thin screen (probably fine and thin black cloth like a scrim) stretched tightly across the area and are projecting a movie of the ghost walking onto that.

Pepper's Ghost effect is slightly different. You would be able to see completely through the ghost and there would be a pretty large piece of glass or plexi in the viewing area:

Disney's Haunted Mansion uses this effect in the ballroom scenes and several other areas.

Thanks gang. I figured it was a projector but was looking for info on how to do it. I will look on the Davis site and look into peppers ghost.
