I am really wanting to turn my fireplace into a crematory, but this is my first time and I've done some searching as to what one looks like or ideas, but coming up blank. How can I make my fireplace too as close to a crematory as possible. Can I add 'fake' fire in my fireplace? I have an old skeleton that I gave the burned look too, I thought about using...but what next? A sign to explain it maybe? Any help/pictures would be a great influence. I have attached a picture of my fireplace wall. (Ignore the mess, the dcorations are taking over)

FYI: I don't have any money this year to spend on Halloween decorations
so I have to go with what I already have or can try and make. BTW: I'm not real crafty! If it wasn't for this site and other how to's I'd be lost!

From a mourners' perspective a real crematory would (generally) only look like a door or window on a wall with curtains on either side.
Undead and loving it!

Is the creamatory NOT a god idea? I have no creepy idea as to what I can do with this large fireplace wall and mantal. The room the fireplace is in is decorated with the chop shop wall scene and skeleton with butcher knife and covered in blood. Any suggestions..greatly appreciated.

Do you want a modern one or an old one? Do a search for "cremation" on Wikipedia, you'll find some useful stuff there. Fake stones can be made of foam and plaster.
