Ok I know what you guys are going to say and that is that I need to go out and purchase an actual webber, or that there are a many store bought web casters out there. But I have a bet going on with the wife and if I cant produce then its going to be costly to me. Now on to my story Mrs. z0mb13 and I were sitting around the ol tombstone the other day and had a discussion on the hot glue webbing and how much we have both been wanting on for a few years. Her wanting the store bought and me wanting to make my own, mainly due to her just liking to being able to go to a store and getting what she needs/ wants and be done with it and me for liking to look at something and deciding what can be done with that and "tinkering" until I get it just right. Then the TKO she said that she will give me the chance to make my own cob web shooter ONLY when " The [darn] thing doesn't work" I have to purchase her what ever one she wants and all the glue needed to be able to do the whole porch and her pumpkin patch. Now knowing the money at risk being well over $100 I took the bet without knowing what lays in store. Now I have tried to find How To's online with not much information to be found (and maybe I am not looking for the right kind of search words) and have also went and looked at a Halloween store that is close to here that sells a webcaster gun and they had a demo version out but couldn't seem to get all the information even from just looking at it! Now with a Mind stretched to the limit (almost) I turn to Ya'll to see if I can get some help. Is there any one out there that can either get me links to some tutorials or even show me the steps that they took to make theirs cuz even though I love and support Mrs z0mb13 I wanna win this wager, and comeout cheaper in the process. Thanks in advance

this is the first time i've heard of hot glue webbers, but the design seems pretty simple.

    heres what i'd do. (quick-easy)

disasemble your gun and add a 3/16" piece of brake line just below the nozzle.
(trap it between the 2 pieces of the plastic housing) doesn't matter where the other endsticks out the gun.

the other end will need to be flared with a brakeline nut.
now i don't have a compressor, but i do have a few hpa (3000psi) paintball tanks with on /off valves.

a few standard fittings/hoses will connect the gun/ brake line nut to the tank.
the release of air can be controlled with the on/off valve, glue with the trigger.

the entire unit should be very portable.

easy as pie (although i've never tested the design)
similar set up could easily be achieved with a compressor. really all you need is an air nozzle/blower in one hand and a hot glue gun in the other.

I was going to post the video above, but, well, someone already did!

I messed around with an air compressor nozzle and a 20 watt hot glue gun. It yielded pretty good results and it didn't require money (most people have an air compressor and a small glue gun) or any assembly. It was hard to hold the air nozzle in just the right position and aim the glue gun at the same time. I also noticed that the nozzle would cool pretty quickly, which forced me to wait for it to warm up again. But if you are patient, it can look pretty cool.

I just bought this gun. 150 watts of hot glue power.

I plan on using it to make my own web gun like in the video above. It should be a beast.

I can handle easy cleanup. That in itself just makes me want one even more.
