hey guys here is another one of my creations, its almost done just need to add some more blood to it. Baby is from Spirit, and crib is from Value Village. Let me know what you think. The strobe light fell over near the end of the video. It was just a test i will tape it into spot on the BIG day!

zombie baby was $34, crib was $6, motor was $20 and misc. things maybe $10. 60-70 bucks canadian. The wiper motor turns an arm under the crib that has a weight on it. I can get a close up picture of the idea if you like.

Sweet! Looks great but the rocking movement gets a little lost from the strobe light.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before

I like it, but if I may add a comment: The kid in the crib looks a bit too big for the crib. Perhaps use that one on the side and get a smaller "baby zombie" for the crib? Just a thought.

If you could PM me with some close up pics or even post them, that would be great... also with the strobe light, maybe you can speed it up that way you can catch the full rocking motion... great job though...

    blacksc,

Thats a nice affect. Can you post a video of the motor while its working. I'm doing a zombie baby room this year. I already have 3 large cribs and a bassinette scrounged up from the trash. That smaller crib will add a nice affect.

    Thanks

hey guys, where the haunt is wont be as dark and it didn't film well but i assure you, you can still see the crib movement. The smaller crib adds to the "childish" nature of the zombie kid. Maybe he ate the "real" baby kinda thing. I LOVE it. I will play with the lighting some more and post final video with all the blood.

That's what I was thinking while watching it, that this thing ate the real baby and then wanted to lie in wait for food to come to him! Awesome job it'll be especially creepy for the parents that wander into your haunt!
