Has anyone done a wall using the effect from the movie frighteners? Or possibly on a smaller scale like a tombstone? Ne way I had an idea to use this effect in some way but I am still in a info gathering stage and not even close to planning.
For those who have no idea what I'm talking about at the very end of this clip is the effect I am lookin for.

I've seen a few different things done with this, its very easy to build really. I made a door last year that works the same way, the Asylum doors that everyone has been talking about is made of the same kind of material. Buy some neoprene or spandex and stretch it across a wall frame, paint to suit and put an actor behind it. There is also a TV that is a similar mech to this if you'd like to go mechanical with it:

Hope this helps with your venture!

I know what your talking about and I am going to try this this year too. I found a large piece of black and white spandex at goodwill , its going to be the hallway into my black and white clown room. It will be lit by black lite, Its not going to be put up untill this week end at the earliest. I am so behind and in panic mode to get everything done! lol
that was a creepy movie!Obsessed

You can buy different colors of spandex at Jo-Ann fabrics or pretty much any local fabric store. Neoprene would probably have to be ordered online, I'm sure someone else could direct you better than I can.
