I want to add Thunder and lightning this year to my Graveyard haunt. Looking for opinions on Steroo/Multi Channel controllers.....Firefly(max 3000watts), I-zombie(Max2400watts) or Pico-Storm(max 1000 watts-Is that enough?)

P.S.-I am not interested in making my own etc. with color organs and don't have time to search for the FX/Christmas Tree boxes.
    Thanks!!!

I have a Chauvet strobe with an input jack. The jack connects to the headphone jack of a stereo and when the thunder sounds, lightning happens. Very easy. Tons of free mp3 lightning sounds are available.

Any of those are good, 1000 watts is enough unless you are throwing a full light lightening show with MAJOR wattage......... I use a FX (christmas) box with 2 large strobes & a few blue & floods & never had a prob. Just how many lites you planning on throwing into it & finances ? Of course buying into a good one now covers you if you decide to up the show in the following years without buying another one. & some of them like I Zombie come with thunder cd's.
When you look in the mirror at midnight,....what looks back at you.........

Thanks- As far as how many lights...I want an attention getting/somewhat realistic effect. I think I am talking myself into the Firefly or I-Zombie for just that reason( not sure 1000watts will be a show stopper?)

If your going for a show-stopper, then I would go with the firefly of I-Zombie, more punch for a show with those. Top models are fun if you incorporate them with the dim out feature during a hit,
plus the multi feature of random multi lines like I Zombies top model......of course so is the show stopping price,...LoL

This is my second year using a Firefly controller and I have to say that it's by far the best one I've seen. Just my two cents on that.

As far as realism, make sure that you use photo flood bulbs so that you get that authentic white/blue light. It really makes all the difference, I've found.

I second that. The effect is phenomenal, and really simple to implement. I now run three 750 watt and one 1800 watt strobe this way.
