How many of you have ever used this bulb? The review says it does not work well. I am gonna use it for making my day-glo paint glow.Anybody? Thanks!

Those are crap. Buy a regular light bulb and paint it purple; it'll be cheaper and work better.

They don't work well. I bought two a couple years ago, and they are lame. I purchased fluorescents black lights instead.

Those are incandescent bulbs and do not work like the fluorescent blacklights. They pretty much throw out a purple light. You can sometimes find screw in type fluorescent bulbs at party stores. Home depot or Lowes usually carry the bar light.

I bought a CFL one at Home Depot. They also have Red, Orange, Yellow and Green ones.

NO!!! Don't use them, you will be severally disappointed. The only black lights that do the job are the florescent ones.
