Wanted to do an animated hanged man this year I wanted a animation but I also needed something as light as possible that also would not subject the main beam support of my house to a lot of impact loads that seem typical of wiper motor driven hanged men. The leg movement is pretty subtle but its there. Here's a pic of the mechanism and a video of the nearly finished prop. I'm still playing with the feet (the boots are too heavy) and trying to decide if I want to add a black hood.
