finally got the props out in the yard! had a bunch of help with getting them all up in one day. With a bunch of friends over we had a decorating party with lots of Halloween fun, BBQ and beer. What could be better
A big thanks to those who came over and donated your time and talent to making it happen (you know who you are!) There is no way we would have been able to do it without you.
Here are a couple of pics of our bigger props being put in place and a night time pic. We'll have more to show, especially of our graveyard once we get everything just right. We defiantly have a few hours of work still of putting the lighting in place and getting everything just right,

Love the spider wall and your cornstalks framing your awesome pumpkin scarecrow.
I have a question for you. How did you get the cornstalks to stand up on there own? I just purchased a bunch today and don't know know to display them.My halloween photos http://s233.photobucket.com/albums/ee50/13mummy/

Thanks guys

13mummy, for the cornstalks I made a hole in the ground with a piece of rebar and a hammer then wiggled it around to make the hole a little bigger to fit the cornstalk. I did use a knife to cut the bottom of the cornstalk at an angle, it seemed to help it into the ground.
We got some cornstalks in hay bales too. Same thing, just drive the rebar into the hay to make a hole then push the corn into it.
It's tough work but cheap and effective.
