I finished the monster mud coating on my mummy prop today and did a little detail work on the crown. I have to detail out the snake on the front of the crown and free paint in all the jewels and gems around the exterior.




What I'm wondering is whether or not I should be painting the rest of the mummy. I really like this color, but I'm not sure if it's too blah by itself. She will have a bright orange vest on and be holding a mop. No, I'm not joking.

So, do I leave it grey? Paint it more of a sandy-color? Or dry brush (or air brush) in some other tones for a bit more depth?
