I have been getting a lot of inquiries if I plan on putting a mask to my Sam Prop. Well here he is with and without. You be the judge if he should have his mask on or off on Halloween Night.

UPDATE: The verdict is this. I have kept him masked and will keep him masked until October 31st. I will remove the hood that night.

They're both pretty creepy - but I think the without is the weirder of the two!!

I'm sure you can find another place to use that mask......

i still can't believe how well this came out. i say make just the hands again and put this somewhere else likes it's peeking over, around something at you. like following.

I vote for the mask. To me that screams Halloween. When he is unmasked he kind of looks like "Mars Attacks". lol

You know I just watched this movie last night. LOVED IT BTW!!! I was wondering WTH all these Sam threads kept popping up. I just thought it was a burlap sack fad

Anyway, I love them both. I do think Sam looks scarier with the burlap sack on. I think he is more memorable that way.

    Either way great prop.

You did such a great job on the head it's a shame to cover it with the mask, but I think I like Sam better with the mask on. Maybe you can find some way to attach the mask to the hand with the lollipop so it's clear to people unfamiliar with the film that the shriveled pumpkin-like head is his own and not a ask?

I just got all of the materials to make a sam costume for my son, and i just had to comment on this. That prop is fantasic. he looks so real. oh, and with the mask, but maybe you could do it ripped like after his fight with the old bus driver, so that part of his face is showing under the burlap
