Can anyone explain how battery operated props in my house keep messing up my digital cable tv? It causes lines or the sound will dissappear while they are on. Is there anyway to fix this? Thanks!

Is it all props or just a few of them? You might try buying a higher quality cable to hook the TV to the cable box. The better cables have more shielding and should block out more of the interference created by the props.

I would say it's some of the bigger ones but haven't really paid attention. I would hope the cable is already good quality since they were here earlier this year and replaced everything...btw...there is no cable box, just a line running straight to the tv.

Hmmm, I thought the FCC regulated things that could possibly interfere with broadcasting. Do you have a cable jack then cable then the TV? If you have a cable jack, It would be easy to change the cable between the jack and the TV. The cable company here supplied us with a pretty low grade cable when the hooked up the TV in the house. I recommend at least an RG6 cable with quadshield. I don't have any other ideas at the moment.

You're really not going to like this .................turn off the TV!!!!!!
Sounds like maybe placement is to close to the TV? Try moving the props away from the TV if you can.

It could be just a bad end on the cable as well, my daughter had a tv in her room that was hooked to a DVD player via one of those cable/RCA splitters (the tv only had a cable connection nothing else) and every time I came into the office to work and turned on my massage chair my daughter would start yelling at me to turn it off because I was making her movie sick lol. After a couple of times I looked at it and found that half of the wires weren't in the cable end so I put a new one on properly and there has been no more problems.
