I made a cauldron tripod with the fire underneath. I will be putting more props on and around the tripod to give a better effect but here is what I made. I got the idea for this from www.skeletonfoundry.com

Is that just the standard silk faux flame? We're looking to add a very similar prop this year, and if you did something differently, I'd love to know what it is!

Wow, it looks amazing under the harsh light of a photographic strobe, it will be beyond amazing in the semi-darkness. You've set the bar awfully high; the Witch better be good!

I have three witches to go with my tripod. I wasn't able to make them this year as I have a lot going on. In going to have a baby in less then 3 weeks (so I'm soooo big and I move very slowly) and my Dad passed away in August and I'm the executor.

I got the how to on this by going to www.skeletonfoundry.com. And yes it's just one of those fake flames you can buy at almost any store right now.

That looks absolutely fantastic. I'd love to do that. We've already got 3 witches. And I've still got branches in the yard left over from the last clean-up! Hmmm.

Don't know if I can talk my missus into it though. She really loves our cauldron with it's little garden mister.

I wanna be able to combine this, and a garden mister and a stirring witch. And discover a cure for the common cold. Is that too much to ask?

This is definitely going on my wishlist. Soooooo believable.
