I am thinking of making a prop where there's a large plexiglass and then far behind it you can see something moving (like down a corridor) then all of a sudden something would jump up and bang on the plexiglass.
I have a animated Rise from the grave that I'm thinking of using as what would pop up and hit the plexiglass.
Has anyone else done anything like this?
My only concern is that someone may put there face up to the plexiglass to see what's behind it and when the reaper hits the glass, the shutter may hurt them.

There will come a time when you have a chance to do the right thing.
I love those moments. I like to wave at them as they pass by.

Use a second sheet of plexi spaced out from the first with a 1/2" of stick on window insulation. The stuff that comes in rolls. Would be hard to tell that there were two sheets and it would give a safety gap for viewers. As long as the plexi is warm it should work fine. Cold plexi will crack easily.

Thanks for the tip Deathly, I had thought about a second plexiglass, so I guess I have to double up on the spenditures.
I didn't know about cold plexiglass, but I don't have to worry about that. I should be a nice balmy 80degrees in my garage that night!! LOLThere will come a time when you have a chance to do the right thing.

We're at about 40 Degrees here at night already, so I always think about the cold.
