Thought this was relevant so I'm posting an old sculpture I did for an art show a couple of years ago.
This was my first attempt at using Sculpty and I quickly realized I should be using super sculpy for anything I do.. the colored stuff is just too soft and messy.
Anyhow... this is based off those creepy Jack In the Box toys a lot of us had as kids which were both fun and horrifying at the same time.
I picked up an original Jack in the Box off ebay for reference and got to work.
Final piece was pretty decent size at about 18 inches.

I learned to use super sculpy after wresting with the head sculpt. As you can see I wasn't too good with the finish work of smoothing, etc. Results were encouraging though.
I was amazed to find the EXACT fabric pattern used on the original toy at Joann's... super score!

I needed this thing to be creepy so the mouth was a big part of that. I ended up using hot glue for the saliva drip.

You can see all the photos of Jack here...

Building a 6-7 foot animated version of this would be TOTALLY SICK.
The hardest part would be storage unless you made the whole thing modular and coudl disassemble the box.

Dont you just love hot glue
It can be used in so many ways, not just for glue'n stuff. I love your jack, he is just evil. (I hate them dang clowns)
You might be a King or a little street sweeper... sooner or later your gonna dance with the reaper!
If I like your product, I MAY buy it... if I love your product, I will just make it myself... for cheaper and better than you did in the first place!
