I have a Chauvet 1700 and Its been a great machine. Reliable, works well and has never given me any problems. The only gripe that I have about it is that it doesn't have a continuous mode available, so you are limited to timed bursts. (Meaning you WILL have to wait at some point while it reheats.)
I'm going to be doing some testing tonight with a new fogger and my chiller and I'm including my 1700 for reference. So hopefully later tonight I'll have some photos up so you can get an idea of actual output on these machines.

Thats great, I look forward to any pics you can post. Do you use their prescribed fluid or another brand? Thanx.

I use only Froggy's Fog Fluid in my machines, and I've never had a problem with any of them. I used MBT Fluid whenI got my first machine, but I moved into Froggy's fluid shortly after that and never looked back. I prefer either the Froggy's Swamp Juice or their Freezin' Fog juice. I've tried several different brands and I ALWAYS Come back to Froggy's. In my testing, its been thicker, had better hang time, and lasted the best of any that I've tried. In my opinion, its well worth the slightly higher cost. And the Freezin Fog through a chiller is amazing!
This is Freezin Fog Joice through my 1000W MBT Fogger and a chiller. And this was a 10second burst.
