Thread: Looking for a fluorescent liquid

I've got a small room in the haunt this year with about 30 IV bags hanging from the ceiling, they hang low so people have to walk through them. I'm hanging a blacklight overhead and am looking for some sort of fluorescent liquid I can inject into the bags so they glow, and glow STRONG. They currently have saline in them, so whatever I inject has a chance to be diluted. Any recommendations?

There are several things you could use. I have had some success with "Tonic water" must have quinine in it. It will give a mild Yellow glow. What I had used last year is....... Highlighter marker, Yes just that simple. I found the yellow ones that are liquid, drilled a hole in the base and drained them. You can also take apart a standard highlighter and pull the cotton/type stuff out and kinda pull it apart (where gloves) and soak the fiber stuff in water. the ink will leach out and go into the water. If you look at my video for 2008. you can see several bottles around my Frankenstein that has the highlighter stuff in it.

Where did you find IV bags at?

You could try water soluble florescent poster paint or florescent acrylic paint.
