Did anyone buy the life size Freddy Krueger animatronic from Spirit Halloween I am thinking about getting one I think he looks great!!!! I should hurry if I want to get him these always sell out pretty fast like last years Michael Myers I like him better then this years!!!

Nope, was not really impressed with the new Freddy. I went to two different stores in my area to make sure one was not setup wrong or damaged. They both were about the same... something just didn't look right in the shoulder/chest area. The face was great and the sound clips were straight from the movie. I choose the Michael Myers... its the H20 version of Myers, looks great, worked great... will be picking him up this Thursday!

That is cool the Myers is kewl as well I like the 2009 the best he is the same structure just a different color suit and head but same movements as the other one that prop should of been $250 not $280 they went up this year! Pinhead was great but not too much movement!

i have been going back since my spirit opened 2 weeks ago and everytime there was a sign that said coming soon. Well i went there today and they had just one. I bought it, and only paid $127.00!!!! when i got the the register, i asked if they can accept a coupon i had on my iphone that i forgot to print out, it was for 20%, they said no, so i told my GF if she can run to the car and get one i had in my glove box i forgot to bring in. well they overheard and the manager said well we will do something better. It came out to 305.00 with tax, they threw on 35% off, AND 35% off employee discount. I dont even work there. when they gave me the total of $127.00 my jaw dropped, i couldnt thank them enough!!!

im happy with it. the arm and chest area looks great, and the movement is nice. the "try me" phrases are a bit different than what you get when u get home as i was surprised to hear him say a phrase about a "wet dream". Also out of the "try me" setup, his waste rotates, and his arm and fingers move more.

for the price i paid, i LOVE IT. he looks great standing next to my jason.

You got a deal!!! I wanted the Freddy really bad as I like the new Nightmare... just the quality of what I saw in the stores and what was online seemed different. If I could get a deal like that I would have got him too! I got to see all three side by side, Freddy, Pinhead and Michael. My pick was Michael, tried like crazy to get the RZ Michael last year but he seemed to sell out really quick! I would love to see a pick of your new Freddy as I too have the Jason. I really like these guys and leave them out all year (horror collection room) as they are not allowed in the main part of the house!

You know I do remember that they were $249 or something like that last year... wow, didn't think about them going up in price! I might still get him, Spirit usually runs a 50% off sale after Halloween. You never know...

Yea you should get Myers but get him before Halloween with the 20% off coupon they always sell out before the 50% after Halloween sale!

Great buy!

Freddy animations are really cool. I kind of miss the sharper features of Robert England though. But if it would have been in my budget, I would have picked Freddy just because of the movement his right arm made.

Ok going to derail for a momment since a person above told an awesome story about getting an amazing discount. I was in a Spirit Store yesterday and was eyeballing last years model of the clown that takes his face off. Anyhow, I get some ladies attention and ask her if they have one of these in a box? She walks off and comes back 2 minutes with the box for this one. She drops it in front of me, says "carefull of the fencing", then walked off. Apparently all they had was the floor model, I was tasked to box it myself, and she didn't want to stick around to discuss a discount on a used product.

In short I did not get the prop. My experience with Spirit is generally awesome. I guess its a good thing that the Twin Cities has 6 of them and when I am down there on Friday I will be visiting one of the other 5.

I bought the last years Rob Zombie Myers and IMO it looks 10 times better than this years. You can hardly see his eyes with they way they painted them. Also, I added some extra padding and strengthened his left arm to help with the robotic/fake look.
