Hello. I'm looking to add a simple scare for one of our hallways during our annual Halloween Bash. I'd like to use one of the Harbor Freight Pressure Sensitive mats to create an electrocution effect for those entering. They would step on the mat, triggering strobe lights and a typical Electric Chair sound effect. I would love some direction on how to get started with the wiring and product recommendations. I tried a thread search and didn't come up with anything.
I'm a newbie, so please be gentle.

I can think of a couple of things to do here
The HF pad is simply shorting the two output lines together so you could use this to trigger something else like:
1. Have audio always running out of an MP3 player with your sound effect and then splice the HF pad into the audio out line to the speakers so that when someone steps onto the pad the audio will then he heard out of the speakers.
2. Wire the HF pad into the MP3's play button so when you step on the pad then the play button will trigger your audio.
