    Heya guys,

I just spent four or five hours working on the latest head sculpture for my haunt. This is going to be the head of the guy who is stuck in the bars on the window, as if he's trying to escape the asylum.

I've never taken any classes or anything in sculpting and this is like the third head I've ever made, so be gentle in your assessments please! But I'd love to hear what you guys think, any adjustments I should make or advice on how to improve future projects would be appreciated as well.

He's supposed to look like he's trying to squeeze through the bars.

R U Kidding? That's fantastic, if you haven't taken classes, then you have a natural talent.
    Great expression and detail.

Great curves and nice detail. The shrivelled eye looks really good. Maybe a touch (just a touch) more detail on the tounge?

I have to agree, you do some great work. Can't believe you haven't taken any classes. What are you using for medium?

On a side note, can you remove two bars on your cage, mount them on wood to the same dimensions as the cage? Then you can create your head between the bars so his head is half way through the bars and then remount them into the cage with his head between them. That way you will have a big bulbuous part in the front and back but, skinny in the middle between the bars. Like he is morphing himself to get through. Hope this is clear in what I'm describing.

I think it looks great. Real character. Classes Schmasses! Bah! Who needs em. I took life drawing classes and they had the wierdest folks modeling you could ever encounter. You have a natural gift, go with it.
