I was thinking of investing in a web shooters this year and spraying my haunt with it. But I have a few questions, is it easy to take off? Also how long does it last? I want to do it when I put my haunt out (this weekend) will it last to Halloween?

Web shooters are essentially hot glue guns with an air valve attached. They shoot small strands of hot glue that don't ever go away. It cleans off smooth surfaces very easily (just pick it up, and it peels off) but it sticks like crazy to fabrics.
Suggest using the bag spider webs for fabrics. The web shooters are great for outdoor displays though. The webs last for a few weeks before (if) getting broken down by the elements. That being said you also need a high capacity compressor to operate one... a little pancake compressor wont get you very far before it needs to recharge.

Does it come off of bricks, siding and wood trim. I always coat the outside of my house front and back with bag spider webs. I have a webcaster and i have just been too scared to put it on the house.

Anything hot glue will stick to is something you should avoid. I've never hot glued bricks so I honestly have no clue. I'd imagine it would come off bricks butiIf you're worried, test a small, hidden spot on the bricks or siding or whatever you want to web.

I made the mistake of trying to go the cheapo route and using one of the power drill attached web gun devices....it was a horrible fail, glue leaked out of the can onto my new Dewalt....grrrrrr, if you are going to do it, make sure that you go the compressor route.

I have black fabric curtains I use to block off my garage and the webs come off fairly easy. The only problem I have is that I use them in a fairly large area from the ceiling of the garage to about midway down the curtain and we have to pin up pieces of fishing line so the webs have something to build on. I have used it on a couple of props a few years ago and the webs are still on them and look just as good as the day I put them on. The web shooters are nice too because you can used colored glue sticks for different color webs.
Here is a shot of the webs on the fabric

I bought a really nice one from Minions. Love the thing. Every year though I go through that relearning curve and get the tip all clogged up. I also run about 50 feet of hose and it's till not long enough for me to get all my front trees.
It has stuck to my front wood porch, siding and windows. As it gets colder out I can pick it of with my finger nails so it does pretty good. I wear old clothes when I'm shooting it because it can get pretty windy but, it helps sending the webbing further.
I use tent spikes and fishing lines to diagram a design then shoot the webbing over it and it lasts for weeks. Just make sure you have mowed your lawn first or you will be running around pulling up all those stakes. lol
I also move my vehicles out of the way when I do it.
Personally, I like the idea of investing a couple hundred to get a damn good product that can shoot about 50' in MN. cold temps.
