Second post here so I thought I'd share some of the things I've made for the house.
Scarecrow inspired somewhat by pumkinrot's growing-vines-as-a-body style.
Mr Jiggles - static zombie, tissue paper mache' on a cheap plastic skull with hot-glue coated polymer clay eyeballs and duct tape hands.

Wow, those are great props! I especially like Mr. Jiggles. How'd you do those twins in the house?
Duct tape is a ghoul's best friend.

Great props and set up, especially given the cost of building them. You have a nice way with the camera too. Mr. Jiggles is my favorite. I love his face and tilted shoulder stance. Have to admit I was a bit startled when I was scrolling down and saw the twins standing at the end of your hallway! Spooky....were those a scenesetter or one of those standups? really creepy.
BTW welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing your work. Inspiring.

actually.. I just took a screenshot from the movie and blew it up to the actual size of the door in photoshop.
i had to add some floor and background and shadowing in photoshop to help along the illusion of the hall continuing beyond the door and to fake depth and perspective but it came out ok.
I then printed the whole thing from a PDF which allows you to print large documents across multiple pages. trimmed and taped together all the 8.5x11 printouts and taped it to the door.
that easy.
I'll dig up the original full size file and a bonus life-size Jack busting through the door for the back of your bathroom door (which ALWAYS scares the hell out of someone when they close the door.
as for cost of making... i'm a elmers glue and toilet paper, scrap wood kind of builder. haha.
the zombie stance was actually rally easy. it's a straight 2x4 from the right leg to the shoulder with a couple of boards projecting off that to get the contorted look.
it also helped to stand in various zombie-like positions iin the mirror to get exactly the pose I was looking for. it's very scooby-do-ish.
