I'm about halfway done with my Cauldron Creep...still needs hands, skin color, fluorescent green paint for the Great Stuff mess, wardrobe adjustments, and I just got my box from MonsterGuts with the motor for the stick.
I was going to try and rig up a 400w fogger into the cauldron, but the smoke, even chilled, doesn't stay in there long. Anyone had luck with dry ice? How much would I need for a decent amount of fog for a 4 hour haunt?

i set my little 400 watt in the cauldron on a timer and it does really good.Of course it cycles thru and there are periods of a little fog.I don't chill it.

How big is the cauldron, diameter and depth wise? I'd suggest an ionic water vapor mister. They make them for fountains now. Dry ice is fantastic, but doesn't last long.

It's about 26" high, 23" in diameter. I have a small version of the vapor mister (the little ones with LED lights from Spirit), but the mist doesn't go high enough...

use your mister and put a false bottom in your caldron. That way you can mount the mister about 12 inches below the lip and still get mist
