I'm looking for some ideas on how to make a spooky looking spider for my haunted hayride. now remember we have no electric where the ride runs and as cheap as possible. Any ideas will be great. thanks

I'm doing a spider, too, using some of the ideas propmistress posted above...$5 giant spider from walmart, $2 bag of nylon spider web, and a $2 bag of smaller spiders...

I have an old skeleton that I'm winding up in the webbing, a la Frodo from Return of the King, and putting the spiders on the outside. Then a spotlight ($.99 LED light) for attention...I have a little motorized unit that slowly rotates that I'll use to spin it, but it's not necessary...I just had it spare and thought it may work. If you hang it outside, the wind may do that for you.

hey cool, my spider victim made the list. why didn't i upload finished pictures or video of him? i seriously need to spend a day and make sure my prop build threads are finished.
