I've been lurking for a while & looking at all the great ideas & props folks have posted. Many very talented, creative, & imaginative people ... thank you.
I had been looking online for ideas on how to build a PVC fence when I found 4 handmade sections at a garage sale for $20. I took it apart & reused the pickets.
The rusty PVC fence is nothing elaborate but I'm pleased with how it turned out. Used gray conduit pipe & found some cast iron finials on eBay for a fair price. 4 ft rebar is used in the taller pipes to hold the fence together & upright. Had to sand & modify wooden dowels to attach the finials to the PVC (glue & screws to hopefully permanently keep them in place). I'm letting the finials rust naturally & used rust & oxide red spray paint to give the rest of the fence the rusty appearance.
