So this website inspired me to make my own creation, I saw a video of a guy who used PVC pipe and an old costume, so I went to the market, bought some PVC pipe, a metal fence rod, and a costume for $15 bucks.

The framework was perfect. Then to get the pumpkin for it, bought 3 pumpkins at Home Depot but they didn't have carving kits! So I went to a craft store and low and behold, there was a hard foam pumpkin on sale for $8bucks that can be carved! So I took a small knife from the counter and carved up this bad boy free hand ( Just be careful, thin carvings break easily ). Stuck it on the PVC pipe and put in a small battery powered pumpkin light that changes colors. I put tinfoil around the pole the pumpkin sits on so the light reflects off it so you dont notice a big PVC pipe in the middle. Now I have 3 extra pumpkins for decoration and one that will last me a lifestime. Enjoy!

    Thanks for the comments everyone.

CKA, Sorry, I found it somewhere on this site a while back. All you need is a long peice of PVC pipe and you make a Cross out of it. I had the guys at home depot cut it up for me, and measure it too. All you really need is the one peice that connects 4 peices together. then you make a T with a small bit left over for the top. Drive in a long fence post like these (http://www.wirenetting.cc/wiremesh_i...cing-post2.jpg) except as long as you can find at the hardware store, mine is roughly 4 feet. Drive it into the ground and put the PVC pipe over it and it will stand up.

Throw on an old costume over it, tie it at the bottom. Then put on any head you wish! I had to cut the bottom of the foam pumpkin to put it on, but you can also find a mask or something im sure to put on the top.
