Ok I found this on the internet and made it and it works GREAT!!

PLEASE only use this outdoors! It was concluded a while back that the vapors from these machines are NOT safe to be breathing in large amounts. I'm glad it works for you, and sorry to spoil the fun, but safety has to take priority.

Bob is right the vapors from these machines are toxic to your lungs! Don't breath this!

Good to know, and why would one want to make this as Foggers are so darn cheap anymore??

2 reasons

1. the fog "fluid" (oil) lasts longer...about 1000 X longer.

2. The fog is not hot so it takes less effort to cool.

I agree about using this only outdoors, but that's where we usually fog anyways.


I really like this alternative, as you aren't a slave to the Chinese made crap out there.

I agree Dr Morbius, mineral oil is no more of a safety issue than any other type of fog fluid we use and you don't have to pay jack up prices for it

That was some great, and factual info. I had herd alot of opinions but that write up is very nice and informative. Thanks for the research. It gives people some facts for when they are weighing the pros and cons of this machine.

I have one of the fog machines and was going to make my own fog juice this year for it because last year it really bothered us since we have to use it inside. are the homemade formulas okay made with glycerine? If not how about using dry ice inside is that safe on the lungs?
