Hey haunters.
I'm being the tooth fairy the way I imagined her as a little girl (read: creepy) and I need some input for my drill. A real power drill is, obviously, too heavy (even without the battery) and I toy looks like, well a toy. I'm looking for something semi-realistic and lightweight. I'm thinking papier-macher but I'm not so confident in my skills. Any ideas?

Black and decker has a small cordless angled screwdriver/drill. I have one i think it weighs less then 2 lbs.
They sell for like 20 bucks and you can use it all year round too.

There is also little screwdrivers out there that look like a drill...my mom has a little silver one that is rechargable. The toy idea could work too if you paint it ....before you mentioned being creepy I was thinking of how one would look all glittered up

I am thinking of a cheap electric tooth brush with a doll roll painted gold, sanded to a tip with a black spiral of electrical tape to resemble a drill bit on the end instead of a brush.

you can find $5 drills and other assorted powertools everywhere. flea markets, junk shops, good will etc etc.
i'd look for an old white metal black and decker or something along those lines.
remove the screws, dump the internals to lighten the load (prepare to get alittle greasey)
and have some fun with it. your drill should be every bit as scary as your costume.

there is the flexible extension for the Dremel. I think that resembles a dentists drill...
