We are on our 4th year of "haunted Garage" and my niece wants to be an evil brain surgeon - shades of things to come - I need an idea for how to create a "Patient" I know how to do a static body - but am looking for ideas/picts for the head/brain
Thanks for the help

Watch the last Hanibal Lecter movie in the series - can't remember the name offhand. It's the one where he performs brain "surgery" on a live Ray Liotta.

I wonder if you couldn't make a patient head (out of styrofoam--hair dresser head comes to mind) with the top cut off. You would then add a brain on top of it that your niece could "perform surgery" on it with the ToTers watching.
I would think that you could pick up one of those plastic food brain molds, fill it with Great Stuff and let it expand and dry and then pop out of the brain from the mold (wonder if you need a mold release of some kind? guys??). Then even off the bottom so it's flat (trim with xacto knife) so it could be attached to the head. Paint the brains (you'll need the right type of paint so it doesn't dissolve the foam. guys??) and bandage the brain to the head to cover the joined parts. Add some hair under the bandage area of the head to give it a more human look.
If you make multiple brains out of the mold she could do surgery on one and when it gets ruined enough and the kids have left, switch it out for a new brain with a whole new set of surgeries lined up for her.
