but I don't feel like paying $60 for a 4 minute video. Does anyone know where I can get one cheaper?

Sounds like a DIY job.

go on you tube,find a scene you like,cut and edit with real player,burn dvd copy.

Here is a montage of scenes from house on haunted hill as example.

That's about the cheapest I've seen for just a vid, being Hi-Rez is the only one selling just a vid........
You can check his EBay store for Sept deals he has going....

The Hi rez vids are awesome. For the amount of time and equipment it takes to produce these vids 60.00 is cheap! You may be able to produce your own if you have the skill and proper editing software? But why bother when someone else has done all the work and is willing to sell for a reasonable price?

Dont forget about the DTMF tones being embedded in the audio track to Hi rez's video.
Thats what make the whole effect work.

Then it pretty much look like you'll have to make your own, There are only 2 people with these type of vids of asylum door & one sells the whole package for BIG $$$ not just the vid.
There are none other out there at this time other then making one yourself or finding vid clips on youtube & editing your own version..........

We bought both the nurse and axe killer videos (they had em on special both for $100) and are absolutely satisfied and feel that the price was a good deal. Not having to deal with the DTMF codes was a huge plus. I took both of these and burned them into a single looping DVD so that I can easily have both vids running without switching DVDs.

In answer to your main question though I haven't seen anything else already made for a better price, and I wouldn't feel right pirating from these guys. (this coming from a guy with huge stacks of pirated dvds) Unlike big movie studios, these guys have a small market and are basically catering to us home haunters.
