It has officially begun! I just put out my lawmower victim in the front yard. The victim is a stuffed pair of pants, shoes stapled to some 2X4s, and a little red paint for blood. I also have a piece of steel cable tying the lawnmower to the porch. Somebody stole my lawnmower last year.

That looks really good!
I 'm sorry, I had to laugh when you said someone took your lawnmower last year. Gosh, people will take anything that's not nailed down!
Sorry you lost your mower.

Pick up a broken lawnmower at a yard sale and then make absolutely certain it's broken. Then the next time someone steals it they will have hours of work trying to get it going to no avail.
I know you have to worry about thieves but this would look really cool with a severed hand and pieces of a bloody, mangled shirt lying nearby.

That is Freakin hilarious! You should buy one of those face security cameras that is battery operated and swivels. Put a sticker on it. Lawnmower Security. I had some one steel one of my homemade heads and it still irks me to this day!
