This year, I will be using my 10x10 ez up tent as part of my walkthrough.

I want to use landscape fabric to make walls, and make it dark inside. My question is, how good is it at blocking out light? Has any one used this fabric: http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1...atalogId=10053

I was going to get from walmart, but it turns out it was plastic.

Does anyone here make it fireproof, or just use it out of the package?

All I can tell ya is that Landscape fabrice is made to block light and let in water....so yes it should block the light......but to be honest you might be better off with black tarps....might even be cheaper.
Now where am I gonna put all this stuff I've built?

I've used lots for actual landscaping, and can tell you it will bleed light through. Held up the sun does come through albiet considerably muted. It is made to let water and moisture through hence it is loosley woven. Also snuffing out cigs I can tell you it will burn through easily, but can't say if it is actually combustible.
What doesn't kill you can still make you walk funny.

It does let quite a bit of light through, Unless you double it it would block out more.

Only probelm with tarps is if it is windy like it was here last year it can really cause a problem because it doesnt let the wind thru like the landscape material. But you got a 50 50 chance of it being windy. I had to stake down my tarps last year and the wind still ripped the crap out of them.

I know you said no plastic, but I bought black plastic table clothes from the $1 store. They are 55" x 108". I just stapled them together and put a board across the bottom on the ground and stapled the plastic around it. It was a little windy and they held good.

We have used this in the past. It holds up very well, blocks all light, and is much cheaper than landscape fabric.

I have also used that as well. If it is windy that stuff wont hold with duct tape or stakes it rips easily once there are holes it it. I tried a piece of black duct tape on each side of the plastic so it doesnt rip as easily but it still does. Stuff is awesome when its not windy though and pretty inexpensive.

I picked up 3.5 mil black plastic at walmart. 3 rolls of 10x25. It is a lot stronger than I thought it would be.
