Hi ther all,

This is my first post to this forum so don't kill me if I mess this up

Does anyone use lighting design software and if so which. I've found a few for the "other" holiday but can't seem to find anything specific.

Coupla thoughts:

If you know you are going to use a dedicated synchronized lighting system, look at Light-O-Rama, Animated Lighting, and there are a few other software/hardware items in the DIY category.

If you just wanna see how its gonna look, try Holiday Lights Designer from HolidaySoft.com. (Google it to get a free download of the demo.) This software allows you to import a picture of your home (along with any props you might have) and add different lighting effects (strings, floodlights, etc) to see how your lighting will look.
